Why use the magnetic card lock system

In the past, the traditional mechanical key is a headache problem in management and security to a hotel. As the development of the technology, management of hotel has a great change. From the ordinary mechanical locks, perforation locks, magnetism locks to nowadays variety of intelligent electronic door locks (magnetic card lock, smart card locks, RF card locks, fingerprint locks and etc.), this change make the management of hotel become more convenient. The management concept also has a fundamental change, from simple security management to intelligent hotel management system. The development of the hotel lock has almost 20 years history. The hotel locks have changed with several generations due to the updated demand in electronic technology and technical process. Now the normal using life of hotel lock can be achieve about ten years and all the parts from hardware (treatment technology on surface, mortise structure, Electric clutch, and material of lock body) to software(hotel management software)also have deeply improvement. If not choosing the right locks, it will bring big loss to the hotel on brand image, security, convenient and maintenance. The customer will not come back if he or she feels unhappy during stay caused by problem card. The hotel will have to break the door and compensate the loss of the customer if lock can not work due to damaged inside. What’s more, if the stolen issue happened but can not find the truth due to entrance record loss or incomplete, the hotel will have to bear all the loss. These factors should be taken into consideration for a hotel when choosing the locks. Why some hotels have to change the old lock after using one or two years?
